Halifax family business breaks into North American market with new partnership
Decorations designer The Seasonal Group has secured a deal with an amusement park manufacturer which will see its products distributed across the US and Canada.
The Halifax-based company has appointed rollercoaster manufacturer Martin & Vleminckx as its exclusive distribution partner for North America.
Founded in 1998, The Seasonal Group specialises in animatronic display products, decorations and grottos for shopping centres and public attractions, and have showrooms in the UK and Belgium.
As part of the deal, Martin & Vleminckx will offer the group’s animatronic products to the amusement park and leisure industries across the US and Canada.
News of The Seasonal Group’s North American expansion comes after the firm expanded its facilities to a total of 100,000 sq ft with the acquisition of a second site in Halifax.
Managing Director, Andrew Bontoft said: “We are really excited to have a distribution agreement with [Martin & Vleminckx] and have worked hard to develop a range of innovative products.
“There are exciting opportunities for the two businesses to work together and having similar work ethics, we will be able to exploit operational synergies.”
