Barratt Developments launches seven new sites in seven weeks

Five-star housebuilder Barratt Developments, which includes the Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands, has launched an astonishing seven new developments over a short seven-week period, delivering 1,183 new homes and supporting 609 jobs region-wide.

A total of £154 million has been invested into seven new sites across the Yorkshire East region, creating 1,183 brand-new two, three, four and five-bedroom homes. The new developments include Prospect Rise in Whitby, Kingsley Meadows in Harrogate, Harrier Chase in Brough, Poppy Fields in Cottingham, Fairfield Croft in York and Torne Farm and Park Edge in Doncaster.

The much-welcomed instalment of the new developments will help address a region-wide housing shortage and create over 600 employment opportunities across a number of disciplines, from construction trades through to head office support positions.
