Fitness chain marks fifth Yorkshire site opening with Hull’s largest gym
Gym and fitness chain Ultra Flex has announced it will open its fifth site in the region in Kingston Upon Hull.
The 15,000 sq ft venue at Trackside Business Park on Hawthorne Avenue will be the largest gym in the city to date.
Expected to launch in August, the fitness facility will feature a main gym, studio, physiotherapy facilities, café and barber shop, as well as cardio and resistance machines, free weights, nutritional supplements and sun beds.
It is anticipated that the new gym, which is the second venue to be added to the chain this year following the creation of a new York gym due to open this month, will create three jobs as well as providing opportunities for self-employed personal trainers in the city.
Manager of Ultra Flex Hull, Russ Wood, commented: “Finding such large premises within easy reach of the city centre is great news.
“It gives us the scope to create the largest gym complex in Hull, offering members a huge choice of amenities including new changing, studio and fitness rooms, a barber shop and cardio, boxing and MMA as well as featuring some of the best equipment from around the world.”
