Lusso Wins Place on SME Export Track 100 as one of Britain’s Fastest Growing Exporters
Luxury bathroom retailer, Lusso Stone, has placed 6th on the SME Export Track 100. The 5th annual Sunday Times WorldFirst SME Export Track league table ranks small and medium-sized private companies in Britain with the fastest-growing international sales.
Lusso is the top-ranked company from the region on the list, placing sixth nationally. its baths, sinks and showers can now be found in luxury homes and hotels from Claridge’s in Mayfair to the Sugar Beach Residences in St Lucia. International sales grew 207% a year to £1.6m in 2018 thanks to growing demand from developers and retailers in the US, where it has established an office.
The SME Export Track 100 is sponsored by WorldFirst, DHL Express and Heathrow Airport, and is supported by the government’s Exporting is GREAT campaign. It is compiled by Fast Track, the Oxford-based research and networking events firm.
Lusso owner, Wayne Spriggs spoke of his delight at this recent accolade;

This year’s SME Export Track 100 achieved, on average, record-high international sales growth of 89% a year over two years to a total of £833m. Together they employ more than 8,900 staff, having added 3,000 jobs over the period. Eight companies based in the North East and Yorkshire made this year’s list alongside Lusso Stone, their total international sales have grown by an average of 106% a year over two years to a total of £61m, together they employ 829 people.
