BAFTA-winning agency expands Yorkshire presence with new Leeds office
Digital agency Joi Polloi has opened new office space in Leeds after doubling its workforce in the last year.
After a period of rapid growth, the firm has secured offices in workspace specialist Bruntwood’s flagship Platform building in the centre of the city.
Based in Sheffield, the BAFTA-winning agency has worked with clients such as the BBC, Channel 4 and the National History Museum.
The move to open a new office follows the firm hiring 10 new members of staff over the past 12 months.
Robin Cramp, Joi Polloi’s client partner lead, commented: “Platform was an obvious choice for us; it offers excellent transport links for our team and our clients, and the Platform’s Tech Co-work space is a vibrant collaborative environment.
“We’re excited to start working alongside existing clients here in Leeds and on new collaborations. The city has a real buoyant vibe as a result of Channel 4 moving its HQ up here and it will be great to see this ripple across the wider Yorkshire region.”
Amy De-Balsi, head of innovation & partnerships at Bruntwood in Leeds, added: “We are delighted to welcome Joi Polloi to Leeds and hope that we can support their planned growth in the city.
“Joi Polloi brings a strong portfolio of work and very specialist expertise which will complement and contribute to the tech and creative eco-system we have at Platform.
“This is an exciting time for Leeds and it’s great to have Joi Polloi here, right in the midst of it.”
