Yorkshire business club strengthens London links with new partnership
A Leeds business club has announced a new reciprocal partnership with London-based City University Club to boost opportunities for graduates.
City University Club, which was established in 1895 as a luncheon club in London for Oxford and Cambridge graduates, has teamed up with the Leeds-based Unity Business Club.
The partnership is hoped to open up business opportunities for graduates from Yorkshire-based universities, allowing them to take advantage of City University Club’s hospitality offerings such as the luncheon club itself and offers through linked hotel partners.
Members of the London-based club will also have access to the Unity Business facilities such as use of its workspace in the centre of Leeds and networking opportunities in the North.
Unity Business Club founder, Keith Madeley MBE, commented: “I am delighted to announce the Unity Club, Leeds, based at Cloth Hall Court, Quebec Street, has formed a reciprocal arrangement for its members with the City University Club London.”
“I have a real passion for business and education working together and this new partnership is a great example.
“The Secretary of the City University Club is keen to encourage Yorkshire graduates to consider membership for London meetings and we will be working towards an arrangement with Yorkshire Universities to make this happen.”
