Heating firm strikes hot deal with new NUFC partnership

A North East firm has partnered with Newcastle United Football Club to boost the growth of its heating business.

Coolbreeze, which was founded in 1996 by Dean Baardman, has teamed up with the Newcastle United Executive in order to engage with the club’s supporters and promote its services.

Based in Gateshead, the company initially specialised in air conditioning before branching out into heating and appliances.

Founder Dean explained: “We went from contracting work to more service-oriented customer base. The heating side is the growing side of the business.

“Everybody’s got a boiler; everybody needs to have their boiler serviced and replace their boiler at home. That’s why we’ve partnered with the Newcastle United Executive Club, to get our name out to the public.”

The partnership will give Coolbreeze brand exposure during matches with branding displayed throughout St. James’ Park on crowd-facing digital LED screens, as well as on StadiumTV and StatZone screens within the concourses.

In addition, the firm will also have access to matchday hospitality tickets and exclusive partner events, including Q&A evenings with former players.

Dean continued: “With the pitch-side branding, there’s 50,000 fans that are in the stadium who are all domestic customers. They’ll see our name as it goes around the stadium and hopefully think of Coolbreeze when they need us.”
