£2.5m Porsche showroom in Newcastle now open with Caddick Construction help
Caddick Construction has recently completed a £2.5m extension and refurbishment of the Porsche Sales and Service Centre on Wallsend’s Silverlink Estate.
The project was on behalf of JCT600 Ltd. The Silver Link Park project signals JCT600’s long term investment with the German sports car maker.
The company has represented Porsche for over five decades across the region opening another Porsche centre near Stockton Teesside in 2017, again refurbished and redeveloped by Caddick.
Caddick Construction’s managing director, Andrew Murray, said: “This was an interesting project on a very busy live site that has resulted in an exceptional showroom and a fitting home for such a luxury car brand.
“We are delighted to have delivered the project on time and managed to keep disruption for both staff and customers to a minimum during the work.”
The workshop was extended to accommodate two customer Direct Dialogue Service Bays and valeting facilities which have doubled in size.
The works also included all external areas. The Caddick team worked on the nine-month project with the official opening taking place in July 2019.
Caddick Construction and Caddick Civil Engineering are the operational arms of Caddick Group PLC. Architect and Principal Designer for the project was Axis 3 Design Limited with structural engineering provided by Bland & Swift Consulting Engineers Ltd.
