Significant investment at Bannatyne Cookridge Hall
The Bannatyne Group is investing £750,000 in its latest acquisition, the Bannatyne Health Club and Spa Cookridge Hall.
A beautiful old hall dating back to 1721, Cookridge Hall, which became part of the Bannatyne Group in January 2019, is located in the attractive outskirts of Leeds between Horsforth and Bramhope.
The extensive, two-level gym , which has spectacular views over the Yorkshire Dales, has been totally revamped with the installation of the full range of state-of-the-art SKILL LINE Technogym equipment and a functional training area.
The centre piece of the functional training area is a bespoke, world-class rig, designed specifically for the health club by ESP Fitness. Indigo Fitness Aero Bikes complete the cutting-edge facilities, designed to support the more fitness and wellbeing goals of more than 3,000 members.
Work has also been carried out to revamp the studios, and the addition of a brand-new Bannatyne Spa is planned at a later date.
Justin Musgrove, chief executive of the Bannatyne Group, said: “We promised members at Cookridge Hall that we would make a significant investment as part of the company’s ambitious plans for all its health clubs and we are delivering on that.
“The new equipment is of the highest standard and the exciting investment in the gym has greatly improved the health club, bringing it up to date without compromising the unique atmosphere and ambience of the magnificent building.”
