Wiltshire Entrepreneur Celebrates Becoming a BestSelling Author at Star Studded Charity Event

Female entrepreneur from Salisbury, Wiltshire celebrates becoming a bestselling author at a star-studded charity book launch.

‘When She Rises’ went straight in at Number 1 in the Amazon book charts and is supported by ITV’s Real Housewives of Cheshire, Rachel Lugo and Leanne Brown, all proceeds and royalties from the book are going to the global charity One Woman At A Time, dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls in parts of Kenya, India and the UK who are severely disadvantaged by social or economic circumstances.

Wiltshire-based Rebecca Cross, 39, is a Business Success and Motivational Strategist and serial entrepreneur, whose positive mindset and attitude has enabled her to plough through life and beat the odds. Her story within the book tells of her dogged determination, tenacity, and resilience that stems from her childhood of foster care and overcoming a reading age of 7 when she was 14 years old, that has also seen her through challenging times as an adult.

Speaking to the 12 authors of the collaboration, Rachel Lugo said: “I am in awe of these women and can’t get enough of their stories. I can’t wait to finish reading the book and I know I will have more questions for them.”

When She Rises Volume One has already become a bestseller on Amazon since being released earlier this month and while discussing plans for Volume Two Rachel declared she “would love to be a part of it.”

Since launching her first business, Rebecca became a serial entrepreneur, setting up a magazine business, a Virtual Assistant business and is now a mentor and coach as well.

Rebecca said: “I am delighted that I have had the opportunity to share my story within this incredible book alongside other incredible women. I have realised that anything is truly possible. Despite everything I have been through, I have two companies that are on their way to generating nearly half of a million pounds in 2019. My journey to help 2 million women step into their greatness is truly on its way. Life is one hell of a roller-coaster in fact at times life can be seen as one huge volcano about to erupt, but every experience I truly believe is put in front of us for a reason and that is for a lesson to be learned.”

Spearheaded by Tiffany Skirrow, a business mentor and founder of When She Rises Coaching, passionate about helping women turn their lives around and become their most successful selves, ‘When She Rises’ exists to offer hope for others who are having a difficult time as well as being a celebration of the women featured and all they have overcome.
