Host management startup swipes up £1.26m Seedrs funding
Host management service Airsorted has closed a £1.26m equity crowdfunding campaign from over 1,000 investors on Seedrs.
The company’s 4,246 strong host base - alongside its existing 1,200 crowd investors - scrambled to invest in the round during its short campaign of just four weeks, in total attracting 1,078 investors.
Airsorted has committed to using the funds raised from the crowd to expand the team in all areas. This is Airsorted’s second investment round on Seedrs, having previously raised over £7m in investment on the platform.
Airsorted’s founder and CEO, James Jenkins-Yates, said: “This has been a key growth round for us in preparation of a Series B, so we are delighted to have returned to Seedrs, welcome back our existing supporters, and pick up some new ones along the way.
“This is an extremely exciting time for the business, and we look forward to showing investors what we have in store.”
Airsorted is a hosting platform that services guest bookings from popular travel websites including Airbnb, Expedia, Booking.com and HomeAway.
It provides a service that looks after the management of host properties to make the experience seamless for both hosts and their guests.
