Abbey College Manchester Hosts International Tour
Abbey College Manchester has boosted the global profile of the city, hosting a duo of international tours with the aim to generate worldwide awareness amongst key educational figures.
The City Centre-based college welcomed eleven agents from various countries including China, Thailand, Hong Kong, South Korea and Taiwan, firmly consolidating Manchester as a major global hub and showcasing the vibrant city as a desirable location for potential future students.
Agents explored Manchester city centre via a walking tour, delivered by a representative from the college. The excited group then went on to enjoy a make-over at the beauty counter of iconic brand, Christian Dior, within Selfridges or a visit to either the Manchester United or Manchester City football stadium.
They then attended the college’s annual graduation and awards ceremony, held at the iconic Radisson Blu Hotel and were able to learn about the success and achievements of the students.
Liz Elam, Principal at Abbey College Manchester commented, “We had a fantastic day encouraging the international agents to sample first-hand our diverse and globally connected city in the heart of the North.
“As an independent college situated in the centre of Manchester with a fast-growing and vibrant community, we understand the importance of maintaining strong relationships with other countries.”
