Sheffield communications firm heads south with new office opening

Sheffield-headquartered Counter Context has opened its new office in London near Westminster.

Counter Context has been based in Sheffield for 25 years, and delivers PR, communications and public affairs knowledge to its clients.

The firm has supported renewable energy schemes and some of the UK’s largest infrastructure and regeneration projects. Counter Context has said growing a foothold in the South East and London was ‘key’ to its long-term growth plans.

Counter Context’s associate director, Emily Marshall, will be based at the new office.

She said: “The opening of our new office home, alongside our existing headquarters in Sheffield and our office in Manchester, is a significant milestone in Counter Context’s history.

“Having an office in the heart of the capital makes absolute sense. Our decision is testament to the confidence we have in the work we are delivering for some of the UK’s most pioneering energy and infrastructure projects.

“Our client base across the built environment is growing and we are poised for another brilliant year ahead.”

An office in London will provide closer access to servicing these long-term projects together with our other clients across the south. The company will be seeking to grow its team in the capital soon.
