Leeds firm completes £2.5m Islington transformation project

A Leeds-based construction firm has completed work on a new residential development in North London.

Priestley Construction, part of Priestley Group, has completed the transformation of a public house into three ‘luxury’ duplex apartments on Packington Street in Islington.

The newly completed development in Angel, known as Islinghaus Apartments, will be retained by Priestley Homes to be marketed as rental properties.

Rob Pell, head of construction at Priestley Construction, commented: “We’re thrilled to have finished work on Islinghaus Apartments, the first of many projects planned in London.

“The transformation perfectly displays our exacting standards and luxurious finishes, creating modern living spaces in an extremely sought-after area.

“We’re excited to begin more projects in the capital, further building our national presence.”

Derry McCulloch, director at Priestley Homes, added: “Priestley Construction has outdone itself with this renovation project and we’re overjoyed with the results.

“The level of finish on the homes is exquisite and captures our initial version perfectly, combining elegance and simplicity. We’re confident that these homes will prove extremely popular on the rental market.”
