University of Leeds healthcare startup succeeds in ICAEW funding programme
Comma Care Limited has achieved a place on the Institute for Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW)’s Investment Readiness Programme.
Comma Care Limited is a member of Nexus-based SPARK, and a University of Leeds healthcare startup.
Founders Rohan Rebello and Abdul Razzak were awarded a £1,000 grant for business development and will now be mentored by industry leaders and backed by investors.
The initiative, which supports ICAEW’s Business Advice Service, allows students and recent graduates from Yorkshire universities to compete for investment in front of a panel of the region’s top business advisors.
Five entrepreneurs from Yorkshire universities pitched their business proposals at an event, which was held at Grant Thornton in Leeds on June 28.
