RAEBURN

British eco-menswear designer to launch pop-up on Carnaby this summer

Christopher Raeburn is to open at 3 Newburgh Street on Carnaby next month.

Known for its ‘responsible’ design for a global audience, RÆBURN will open a six-month pop-up shop to be used as the brand’s primary retail space in the capital.

The 814 sq ft shop will house the brand’s seasonal collections, collaborations and RÆMADE special items, in addition to being used as a creative studio to host events and workshops.

British designer Christopher Raeburn has long been a part of the eco-menswear market, while his label’s RÆMADE reworks surplus fabrics and garments.

Samantha Bain-Mollison, head of retail at Shaftesbury who announced the new opening, said: “We are excited to host the first West End flagship for responsible brand RÆBURN.

“Innovative product within a creative space alongside their sustainability policy is exactly the right fit for our Carnaby and Newburgh Quarter shopper.

“We hope they will succeed to become a permanent fixture on Newburgh Street alongside Filson, Red Wing and Levi’s Vintage.”

RÆBURN will join recent Carnaby openings, Danish flagship store Samsøe & Samsøe and Ralph Lauren’s RRL.
