Tyneside PR duo target startups with new web division and expansion plans
A Tyneside PR firm has revealed a new web development division as it looks to expand its operations across the UK.
Today (August 22), JAC Media, the brainchild of former business and music news journalist Jon Corbett, has launched The Web Lab with his wife Rebecca, offering SEO and web development solutions for SMEs.
The company, which opened its doors in 2014 and is housed in the Ouseburn Valley, has also recruited three new members of staff to help fulfill ambition of providing UK SMEs with a digital platform to get noticed online.
It also has plans to open offices in Manchester and London.
Managing director, Jon Corbett, said: “It’s an exciting time here in JAC Media world and the time is right to move in a slightly different direction and offer something more to the businesses we serve thanks to the introduction of The Web Lab.
“We’ve built a solid reputation for building headlines for our clients in the media and enhancing their reputation and brands, but it’s a natural progression for us to offer more.
“We’ve also added some amazing young and talented people to the team to breathe new life and ideas into the company. My wife Rebecca has came on board to help spearhead The Web Lab and will be responsible for the design and build of awesome websites.”
The Web Lab - which will run alongside JAC Media’s PR offering - is now open and provides tiered web design and SEO packages for small businesses and startups.
