Yorkshire app developer set for growth following contract wins
An app developer based in Yorkshire is set to grow its workforce following a range of client wins.
Leeds-based firm Pocketworks has gained six new staff, won new clients in a range of sectors and secured bigger projects in the last few months.
Pocketworks specialises in developing mobile apps for businesses to drive efficiency and grow sales.
The firm has ambitions to grow its business and hopes that by being positioned in the “digital and technological powerhouse” of Leeds it can access and attract top talent.
Pocketworks managing director, Tobin Harris, commented: “There has never been a better time to be in the tech scene in Yorkshire, and in Leeds especially.
“We’ve had some great results this year and recognise that in order to continue growing we need to expand our team to keep up with the digital-first approach many businesses are adopting.
“We know there’s incredible talent already in the area, and looking to move to the region, so we’re keen to snap these great people up while we can!”
