Endeavour Automotive launches Volvo Retail Experience in West London
Continuing its commitment to motor retailing in the capital, one of the UK’s top 100 car dealer groups, Endeavour Automotive, has completed a comprehensive refurbishment of its flagship Volvo franchise, located in Chiswick, West London.
The Volvo Retail Experience, which reflects the manufacturer’s latest showroom design, accommodates eight new vehicles, a dedicated customer handover bay and an extended customer lounge. In addition, the space can showcase up to 55 Volvo Approved used cars. The refurbishment project also included fitting out a state-of-the-art workshop with six service bays and latest Volvo diagnostic equipment.
Established seven years ago, Endeavour Automotive has grown by more than 25% during 2019, including expanding into Berkshire. The business now operates from 16 locations with dealerships across London, as well as in Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Essex. Employing over 350 colleagues, the company holds franchises for Volvo, Hyundai, Lotus and the London EV Company (LEVC), which produces zero-emission capable taxis.
Endeavour’s acquisition of three Volvo dealerships in High Wycombe, Maidenhead and Slough, earlier this year, boosted its Volvo portfolio by 50% to nine sites, making it one of the largest independent Volvo retailers in the UK.
Commenting on the company’s developments, John Caney, Chief Executive Officer, Endeavour Automotive, said:
“Since we started trading in 2012, the retail automotive sector has experienced a roller-coaster period but we continue to respond positively to market conditions and forecast delivering not only a fantastic range of models to customers but also strong revenue, in excess of £200 million this financial year. The opening of our newly refurbished West London Volvo business crowns a very busy 2019 and we look forward to growing the business further and creating new career opportunities.”
