Leeds professionals set for networking boost following group launch
A group of legal specialists have launched a new group to encourage networking among young professionals in the region.
Legal specialists from national law firm Irwin Mitchell have launched the Leeds Futures Network Group in a bid to promote both internal and external networking in the city.
Led by a number of junior lawyers from the firms’ personal injury and Court of Protection, private wealth and business legal services departments, the group launched last month in the centre of Leeds.
The group aims to host three to four events a year, bringing together professionals from a range of sectors to network and open up new opportunities in the city.
Lauren Bullock, specialist medical negligence lawyer from the Irwin Mitchell office in Leeds, commented: “Our group has been created after the success of the London Futures Network Group.
“Following our launch last month we have received positive feedback and some good recommendations for future events.
“The events are a great opportunity to catch up with existing contacts and to make new connections.”
