Scaleup North East partners with Apartment Group to provide an exclusive members club

The Scaleup North East programme has teamed up with leisure operator Apartment Group to launch a unique peer to peer hub that enables like-minded growing businesses in the North East to connect.

Regular social gatherings of companies participating in the Scaleup North East Business support programme are taking place in various Apartment Group venues across the region. Each get-together provides the opportunity for fast-growing companies to share and discuss pressing business issues in an informal setting, building on the cited importance by leaders of the UKs scaleup companies, for locally delivered solutions that enable better access to local peer-to-peer support.

These socials are to take place on a monthly basis, in the relaxed atmosphere in of a selection of Apartment Group venues and provide a safe space for invited local entrepreneurs and business leaders to network, share best practice and explore opportunities for mutual collaboration.

Sarah Pavlou, Scaleup North East Programme Manager, commented:

“Having a community of like-minded business leaders is invaluable when scaling a business; it can be a lonely place at the top. For this reason, we are delighted to be partnering with Apartment Group to deliver regular and relaxed ‘Scaleup NE socials’ to our growing scale-up community. The Socials are completely free to attend for companies on the Scaleup NE Programme and form part of our overall mission to create a collaborative and engaging ecosystem for North East scaling businesses to thrive in.”

RTC North is delivering Scaleup North East in partnership with North East Local Enterprise Partnership and is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund. The multi-million-pound programme aimed at supporting North East-based businesses that can demonstrate both the hunger and the potential to achieve high levels of growth.
