Solmar gives holidaymakers a bit of certainty with launch of new Brexit Assurance Scheme
Holidaymakers looking to cast aside Brexit uncertainty are being given the opportunity to avoid surcharges or supplements by a leading villa company - regardless of what happens after the October deadline.
Solmar Villas has moved quickly to quell fears in the travel sector by launching its own Brexit Assurance Scheme, where customers can book their 2020 holidays before October 31st and the firm will guarantee no price increases.
All clients have to do is book one of the firm’s 600 exclusive properties across 12 luxury locations and pay in full or spread the cost through the company’s own dedicated payment plan.
Furthermore, booking flight and car hire through the travel specialist will mean all travellers are fully protected by ABTA and ATOL.
Julie Blake, Managing Director of Solmar Villas, explained: “The Government has already said that in the event of ‘No Deal’ that travel - including passport control and driving overseas - should be business as normal.
“We want to build on this good news by giving new and existing clients the chance to safeguard against any price increases by taking advantage of our Brexit Assurance Scheme.”
She continued: “Through our contacts in the sector and our proven track record, we have already secured the best possible deals for 2020 and want to open these up to travellers keen on enjoying a luxury villa holiday.”
Solmar Villas currently offer circa 600 exclusive properties across the Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Cyprus, Croatia, Greece, Italy, mainland Spain, Malta, Portugal and Turkey.
The company is planning to increase sales to £25m over the next 12 months, with the recent launch of Istria soon to be joined by Madeira and Tenerife on its list of destinations for 2020.
It has also become the UK’s first villa holiday specialist to offer the option of securing your villa with a low or zero deposit, allowing the customer to spread the cost over 12 months interest-free.
Julie concluded: “With so much uncertainty doing the rounds, we felt it was important to give holidaymakers some much needed clarity - another example of us listening to and proactively responding to what our customers want.”
2019 will see Solmar Villas continue to expand its growing distribution network, alongside investment in its own reservation system that is geared towards API technologies.
