Demolition firm smashes brand exposure with West Ham home ground partnership
An Essex-based demolition company has become a partner of London Stadium Business Club to celebrate its commitment to the region.
Downwell Group has joined the business club at the home ground of Premier League team West Ham United.
Established in 2003, Downwell Group is comprised of a range of companies including such as Inner-city Environmental and Land Remediation.
Through the partnership, the firm will see its branding broadcast at the 60,000-capacity stadium throughout every West Ham United home match.
In addition, the company will feature on pitch-facing mid-tier boards at the stadium, as well as gain access to networking opportunities and events - which have previously included Q&A evenings with Sir Trevor Brooking.
Marketing and bid manager, Alan Knight, explained: “We have West Ham fans within the business and that helped us make the decision to join the London Stadium Business Club, but everyone is equally as enthusiastic about being associated with the Football Club.
“People going to the game might not see our branding live, but if we promote the connection ourselves then people start looking out for us.
“It’s amazing the attention we get just by posting about the Business Club. A picture of us on the big screen or a video clip all get huge responses and going forward we’ll be aiming to keep making the most of it.”
