Graduate recruitment process 'solution' app launches for UK students
Video-based recruitment platform GradHire has launched with the aim of transforming graduate recruitment across the UK.
The platform, available online or as a mobile app, provides a simple-to-use tool which streamlines the entire recruitment process for both employers and graduates.
David Heron, founder of Gradhire, has spent over 25 years in the recruitment industry and noted that traditional recruitment methods do not support the successful hiring of graduates.
David states that the current methods used for graduate recruitment are ‘time consuming’, ‘costly’ and ‘do not support the effective matching of talent to roles’.
This is supported by research carried out by Universities UK stating 30 per cent of graduates are misplaced in roles, representing over 100,000 graduates who enter the wrong type of role every year.
Gradhire aims to eliminate all of these issues and provide an improved solution to graduate recruitment.
David Heron, founder of Gradhire, added: “Having handled many graduate roles during my recruitment career one of my biggest frustrations is seeing candidates entering into the wrong roles having worked so hard to graduate.
“By flipping the recruitment process on its head, businesses are now able to assess a graduates hard and soft skills to really understand what drives and motivates them to ensure they are recruiting the right graduates for their hiring needs.”
