Leeds home improvement service aims for £8m turnover with new showroom and jobs
Leeds-based Passmore Group has grown 26 per cent leading to its second expansion and the purchase of its first showroom in Mirfield.
The existing 1,000 sq ft concession unit - based in Whiteleys Garden Centre - has been purchased by Passmore and will support the company’s £8m turnover target by 2022, which could create 25 jobs.
Passmore has filled three new roles at the Mirfield site. Sue Clayton and Dawn Crabbe are said to be the firm’s new showroom demonstrators, who will work alongside the design team, and deal with customer enquiries and take appointments.
Tony Passmore, managing director, said: “Over the past couple of years we have extended our showroom in Leeds, in addition to moving into Harrogate, so when this space became available I couldn’t let it go - it seemed like the perfect next step in our growth journey.
“The new concession showroom provides our customers with a taster of what we can do, offering the perfect mix of bathroom, kitchen and bedroom design inspiration.”
Established in 1965 as a two-man plumbing business, almost 54 years later the 70-strong brand has now opened its third showroom.
It provides various home improvement services in Leeds and surrounding areas in Yorkshire.
