New healthcare insourcing firm to deliver weekend services at NHS sites

A national healthcare specialist has today announced the launch of its new healthcare insourcing business which aims to reduce NHS waiting times.

Totally, which specialises in out-of-hospital care, has announced the launch of its new insourcing venture Totally Healthcare.

The new company will provide a range of procedures and services within NHS hospitals, taking advantage of spare capacity typically during weekends and bank holidays.

With specialities including endoscopy, ophthalmology, ear nose and throat (ENT), orthopaedics and urology, the firm plans to take advantage of the ‘fragmented’ healthcare insourcing market worth between £125m and £150m.
