The IG Group continues to expand
A NORTH EAST company which is one of the largest suppliers to the hospitality industry is celebrating its continued success.
The IG Group, based at Peterlee’s North East Industrial Estate, has continued to attract some of the biggest brands to its catalogue, which includes being the sole distributor for a number of market leaders.
The company is also a supplier to most of the region’s leading hospitality companies, consolidating its position as the North East’s major player in its field.
The IG Group, whose product ranges includes glassware, tableware and cleaning products, has this year unveiled a whole host of new offerings, including an expansion to its Green Planet environmentally friendly ranges, a new buffet and tabletop catalogue and its coffee collection products.
At the same time, it has also recently been approved to be a supplier of prestigious brand, Villeroy and Boch and has expanded its operation with the opening of a London show room.
The company also became sole distributor for Casa Allegre ceramics from Portugal, which joined its other exclusive ranges including Metropolitan Glassware, RAK, Sango, Urban Bar, Maxima and Heritage.
Stephen Hoey, CEO of The IG Group, said the year to date had been a very positive one for the company.
“Along with the clients we have had for many years, we are continuing to attract new business because of the huge variety of products we have available and the reputation we have for being able to deliver on time and at speed,” he said.
’We are working with the majority of the major groups and independents in the North East, which gives The IG Group the largest market share in the region.
“We supply most of the leading hospitality and leisure companies across the region as well as national chains across the UK and the fact that we can offer a one stop shop is much appreciated by our customers.
“It has been a very positive year to date and we are looking forward to continuing to grow our market share.”
