West Yorkshire Nano Park welcomes four new firms as owner prepares for regional expansion
Four businesses are the latest to join a growing new Nano Park development in West Yorkshire.
Newhall Nano Park, part of the existing Newhall Business Park and wider Prologis Park in Bradford, has welcomed roofing contractor LRL Roofing, print supplier Document Logic, chemicals company Clariant and bike firm North Bikes.
Keti Lako of Clariant, who have taken the 1,730 sq ft Unit 5, explained: “The laboratory space is ideal for us and the office is very high spec and luminous. The security entrance system is great and well thought of.
“These hybrid workshop/office spaces are ideal for laboratories and there is a lack of laboratory space in general, so we’re very happy to have found them.”
Jackie Stableford of leading provider of printers and photocopiers Document Logic, who have taken the 1,730 sq ft Unit 4, added: “Nano Park was chosen because of its location and easy access to the motorway system.
“As we also service photocopiers and printers, we needed a workspace that was large enough to accommodate the increased volumes of machines after our latest acquisition.
“The landlords were very helpful and it was useful to be consulted during the build in order that the premises fit our working requirements. It was important for us to have the flexibility of both warehouse/storage and office working space and Nano Park offers us this.”
Comprising 18,000 sq ft of workshop and office space in small units, Newhall Nano Park aims to cater to SMEs and startup ventures.
The Nano Park Company plans to roll out its Nano Park concept across Yorkshire, with specific sites already earmarked in Leeds, Halifax, Wakefield and Skipton.
Edward Marshall, a director of The Nano Park Company, explained: “Our new Nano Park is the final phase of Newhall Business Park and is something new and exciting for us.
“We have built small hybrid units, with warehousing space below and offices above. We are delighted to welcome our four new occupiers, who have justified our faith in building these units speculatively.
“We are in the age of the entrepreneur with more and more small and start-up companies looking for self-contained space of their own. We are now providing flexible, affordable and attractive business premises to help companies of this type to grow and prosper.”
