JTF Home & Garden celebrate 40th anniversary with range of events in store

JTF Home & Garden, value retailers operating across the UK, welcomed thousands of customers in store to celebrate its 40th anniversary in style. With special offers, freebies and fun for the whole family, the 12 stores have plenty to cheer about including the Newcastle branch in North Shields. Since the start of the journey in 1979, JTF has expanded across the North and Midlands to now operate 12 value retail stores in addition to a thriving online store for customers across the country. Saturday’s event offered activities for the whole family, from gin tasting and special offers on the entire product range, to face-painting and balloon models for younger visitors. A shop-to-win scratch card game ran across all stores, giving lucky winners one of 100,000 prizes on offer which included a £250 JTF gift voucher, Lay-z-spa, and even a years’ worth of loo roll. The event was a huge success for the Newcastle store; footfall experienced a significant rise for the day with visitor figures up 79% from the same date last year. Store manager Simon Greenup said, “The North Shields branch of JTF is always popular for shoppers looking for value, the 40th birthday event showed the very best we can offer. With activities for all ages, everyone seemed to enjoy the celebrations and we look forward to welcoming everyone back for the next big birthday bash.” JTF Home & Garden CEO Liam Gill said, “We wanted to offer something special for all our JTF customers new and old to celebrate 40 years in business.
