Vegan curry house set for expansion with six-figure crowdfunding campaign
A curry house specialising in vegan cuisine is set to open its second site outside of London after launching a new crowdfunding campaign.
SpiceBox, based in East London, has officially launched a campaign on crowdfunding platform Seedrs with a target of £300k.
Founded in in 2016, SpiceBox specialises in home-cooked style curries using plant-based ingredients, and saw its first restaurant open in Walthamstow at the beginning of this year.
The funds will enable the business to open its second eatery outside of London, which it anticipates will be in a town close to Walthamstow but outside the M25.
SpiceBox founder and CEO, Grace Regan, commented: We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our crowdfunding campaign.
“Feeding and nurturing local communities is an integral part of SpiceBox and so it makes sense to open this investment round up to our guests and followers.
“We’re passionate about breathing life back into the provincial UK high street. There’s no better way to do this than through the Great British curry house!”
