Yorkshire building solutions firm creates jobs following 40% sales increase
A Yorkshire based provider of modular and portable building solutions has expanded its team following a 40 per cent sales growth in 2019.
Thurston Group, which is based in Hull, has increased its headcount in order to meet a growing demand for its products.
The firm has made new hires in its business development, engineering, production and projects teams, as well as the promotion of a new financial controller.
The news follows the firm’s creation of more than 60 jobs with the opening of its third manufacturing facility last year.
Matthew Goff, managing director at Thurston Group, commented: “It’s a really exciting time at Thurston Group and this significant growth is a huge milestone for the company.
“Our investment into employees is instrumental to our success and our goal is to continue expanding, both within the business and in the industry.”
“Modern methods of construction are becoming increasingly used across a range of sectors due to their speed, flexibility and cost-effectiveness.
“Our ambition is to continue providing high-quality modular solutions whilst growing our presence in the UK and overseas further.”
