David Pesarra, FW Capital

FW Capital has appointed a new investment executive to manage the North East Property Fund.

David Pesarra will champion the drive to support the development of small-scale property schemes across the region through the £10m Fund.

Prior to joining FW Capital, David had a career spanning 20 years with Lloyds Bank. In his role as relationship manager real estate, he managed a mixed portfolio of development funding and commercial/residential real estate investment assets.

David will work alongside FW Capital’s investment executive Tony Cullen.

David said: “I am delighted to join FW Capital to support the North East Property Fund as it will allow me to work in a space that adds value to the North East economy through financing local development schemes, creating and maintaining local jobs and ensuring benefit to the local supply chain.

“I look forward to demonstrating what we can offer and utilising my own contacts to develop the Fund further and help more property schemes come to fruition.”

Mike Hill, Carl Green and Paul Smith, Indigo Software

Indigo Software has enhanced its executive management team with a series of appointments at C-X level.

Mike Hill, formerly CEO for Indigo Asia Pacific has been appointed as chief sales officer (CSO) with responsibility for global sales and customer relationship management at Indigo.

Meanwhile, Carl Green has been appointed as chief technology officer (CTO) and will lead the technology vision, product evolution, and evangelism of Indigo’s Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions.

A multi-skilled solution architect and technical team leader, Carl has designed and implemented cloud architectures, often in challenging customer environments.

Paul Smith, formerly support manager at Indigo has been promoted to chief operations officer (COO). Paul is responsible for managing Indigo’s support operations and its highly experienced team of consultants.

Jackson Hogg

Recruitment firm Jackson Hogg has recently made four key hires to expand its service offering.

The Newcastle-based recruitment specialist has secured Jo Rawlinson as senior HR recruitment consultant, along with the appointments of Graydon Winter as its head of international IT, Fern Couchman as head of finance and Jill Mallinson as HR partner.

Graydon Winter has joined Jackson Hogg’s growing international team to head up its IT recruitment in the East Coast of the USA.

Graydon joins after a career with an international recruitment firm and is set to delve deeper into the large technology markets of America’s East coast.

Jo Rawlinson joins the firm as senior HR consultant and has already made some key hires with Jackson Hogg for their clients in the North East.

Jo said: “As part of expanding our HR Recruitment offering in the North-East, we’ve set up a number of added value events to allow HR and learning and organisation development practitioners to engage with each other across the region.

“I think it’s extremely important for HR professionals to share best practice, current challenges and success stories and these events are a great way for people to develop their networks in the field whilst learning from their peers.”

Ryecroft Glenton

Ryecroft Glenton (RG), which is experiencing growing demand for its services, has bolstered its team with the recruitment of eight staff across four service lines.

Joining RG are trainees Emma Harrison, Thomas Shaw and Samantha Scott, who all join as assistants in its accounts and outsourced services department, along with Harry Lamb who joins as an assistant in the business tax department.

The firm has also recruited Debbie Cowling as a payroll assistant, Ben Kain as assistant in the corporate finance department and Kim Briggs as a paraplanner in the wealth management department.

Completing the group of appointments is Angela Harvey who joins as an assistant administrator, having relocated to the region from Edinburgh.

Helen Langton, Lynas Engineers

Redcar-based Lynas Engineers has appointed new senior engineer, Helen Langton.

Helen joins from Darlington Borough Council, where she was a highways engineer. Helen’s arrival follows that of operations manager, Lee Smith, earlier this summer, as managing director, Rob Lynas continues to build the team, which currently stands at 10 staff.

Established in 2016, Lynas Engineers specialises in civil engineering design, infrastructure design, highways engineering, structural engineering, drainage design, 3d design and building information modelling (BIM).

Helen said: “I have extensive civil engineering experience across the private and public sectors having worked at Darlington Borough Council for four years.

“My expertise is in drainage and I will be working closely with director and principal engineer, Wayne Farrell, to undertake flood risk assessments and to implement drainage designs and drainage strategies as we look to undertake new projects with industrial and commercial clients as well as delivering to local authorities and the wider public sector.”
