North East SMEs to benefit from fully funded digital marketing workshops
SMEs receiving support from Business Northumberland will now be welcomed to take part in fully funded digital marketing workshops delivered by Digital Allies.
The full-service digital marketing company based in Team Valley has been appointed by Business Northumberland, which launched a brand new digital support programme for SMEs in July 2019, to offer their expertise and upskill small business leaders in areas such as social media, ecommerce, websites and search engine optimisation over the next three years.
Scott Goodacre, training lead for Digital Allies, will deliver the sessions. He said: “We are excited to start working with SMEs across Northumberland in order to improve their digital marketing.
“The Business Northumberland programme is a fantastic opportunity for businesses to access professional help and support at no cost, and we are proud to be playing our part in supporting this community.”
Match funded by the England European Regional Development Fund and Advance Northumberland, the Business Northumberland programme provides free support to small and medium enterprises across the North East who are looking to sustain and grow their business.
Richard Wearmouth, chair of Advance Northumberland, said: “In this day and age it’s important businesses keep abreast of the latest digital developments and these new workshops are a great chance for them to refresh and improve their skills at no cost.”
