Sophie Milliken wins at Best Business Women Awards 2019

The Best Business Women Awards have announced their winners for 2019 at a gala final held at The Tower Hotel in London. Businesswoman Sophie Milliken from SRS – Recruitment and Employability Experts won Best Businesswoman in Recruitment in this prestigious competition which seeks to find the very best female business talent from across the UK. SRS are graduate recruitment and employability experts working with employers to design their assessment materials and graduate schemes. They are the leading supplier of assessment centre simulations to universities.

The business world is full of talented and dedicated female entrepreneurs who not only run successful businesses but in many cases also juggle the needs of their families. The Best Business Women Awards are designed to recognise the achievement of those women across a wide range of business categories and is open to any female business owner UK wide.

Debbie Gilbert, organiser of The Best Business Women Awards said ‘We were delighted with the number of entries this year, which came in from all over the UK. This is a tough competition judged by business experts. To win is a major achievement. Winners were selected for their business acumen, determination, creativity and tenacity. The judges commented ‘Recruitment can be a tough industry so well done to all the finalists selected who are all great examples of businesswomen in this industry. Our winner Sophie Milliken is passionate about the employability of young adults and the business has gone from strength to strength. Sophie demonstrated some great evidence of innovation to support the demand. She demonstrated clear strategic vision and delivery plan with significant personal achievements.’
