Partnership to secure ten graduate placements in Leeds
Hortor, the global strategic resourcing consultancy, has been named exclusive onboarding partner for Planet-U Energy, the renewable green energy supplier, with the first brief to secure ten graduate placements before the end of the year.
Working closely with the Chief Executive of Planet-U Energy, Grant Nicholson, the team at Hortor will identify the best talents to join the company with positions available in client services, energy efficiency and outbound sales.
Successful applicants will rotate their positions to gain experience across the organisation and determine what roles they feel are best suited to their skills as they embark on their first professional career.
Located at the heart of Leeds City Centre, the business is hoping to attract permanent placements for ambitious graduates that want to work for a company that has sets its targets to employ 50 people and supply £100m worth of energy contracts by the end of 2020.
Joint Chief Executive of Hortor, Andy Roe, comments: “As a business that has a graduate scheme in place, we know how valuable candidates can be when they have the right attitude and aspirations. Retaining talent in Yorkshire is important and working with organisations like Planet-U Energy, which has the same philosophy, is really encouraging.”
Grant Nicholson, comments: “We wanted to work with a growing and agile business that would understand our culture and what we are hoping to achieve longer-term with these placements. Any recruitment agency can find graduates, but it is about thinking beyond that and identifying those that will take this opportunity and proposer.”
As exclusive onboarding partner, Hortor will work alongside Planet-U Energy to meet with its resourcing requirements, attracting the best talent to the organisation as it continues to extend its team in Leeds and throughout the country.
