Property firm to launch Old Kent Road office as part of 'strategic expansion'
A South London estate agency is set to expand its presence across the city starting with the acquisition of a new office in South East London.
Property specialist KALMARs has acquired a new office at 366 Old Kent Road, the first step in the firm’s plan to create a network of five offices across the city.
Set within a Victorian parade and comprising 1,100 sq ft of space, the new office will operate alongside KALMARs’ existing head office at 2 Shad Thames, and will be primarily for the firm’s residential sales and new homes operations.
Locations in South London are being reviewed for the other three offices, as part of the company’s strategy to create a network of offices within the next five to seven years.
The news of the office acquisition also follows KALMARs recently published Old Kent Road Report, which showed that the area is undergoing a £10.7bn transformation.
KALMARs’ managing director Richard Kalmar says: “Our boards are all over the local area, giving KALMARs unrivalled brand presence in the marketplace.
“With our sister offices on Shad Thames and Old Kent Road we are looking forward to continuing the work we have done to help improve the Old Kent Road area and will continue to take an integrated approach for the benefit of both new and existing occupiers.”
