Qubic Expands Tax Investigations Department with New Manager Appointment

Accountancy and tax firm, Qubic, is continuing to expand with the addition of new client services and, as such, is pleased to welcome Aadil Masood as Tax Investigations Manager.

Qubic Tax, a national firm of tax specialists with offices in London and Newcastle, focuses on providing tax advice to SME’s, high net worth clients and business owners throughout the UK. Now in its eleventh year of business, with approximately 35 staff, Qubic is pleased to welcome Aadil Masood to the Tax Investigations team which is led by Dave Jennings.

Mr Masood will be working from Qubic’s London office based at 30 St Mary Axe (The Gherkin) developing relationships with advisers and clients across the UK, ensuring that Qubic’s services are available to those looking for expert advice and assistance with tax investigations.

Aadil Masood is appointed as Tax Investigations Manager for the firm, a new role where he will assist Qubic’s network of clients and advisers with the growing requirement for Tax Investigations and Dispute Resolution services. Mr Masood has a wealth of experience in assisting clients and their professional advisers (such as solicitors and accountancy firms) deal with HMRC enquiries and investigations at all stages through to settlement. This includes HMRC compliance checks, Code of Practice 8 tax investigations where HMRC suspects a serious loss of tax has been underpaid and Code of Practice 9 tax investigations, incorporating the Contractual Disclosure Facility process, where serious tax fraud is suspected by HMRC.

Mr Masood commented: “I’m delighted to be starting a new role at Qubic. My role will primarily be to assist with the growing demand for our Tax Investigation services. Dave Jennings has been instrumental in setting up Qubic’s Tax Investigations and Dispute Resolution department and I am thrilled to be involved in developing this further. I’m looking forward to bringing my experience to Qubic and to further my knowledge and expertise.”
