Willmott Dixon Interiors wins place on University of Warwick Framework

An office fit-out and refurbishment specialist contractor that has worked on projects for the likes of the National Gallery and Department for Education has been appointed to the refurbishment framework of a Russell Group university.

The University of Warwick has selected Birmingham-based Willmott Dixon Interiors for its five-year Building Refurbishment Framework.

Willmott Dixon Interiors is one of three companies that has been chosen for the framework, which will cover a broad range of refurbishment, design and construction work across the university’s entire estate.

Phil Crowther, director at Willmott Dixon Interiors, said: “We are delighted to have been appointed to the University of Warwick’s Building Refurbishment Framework.

“Willmott Dixon has successfully delivered projects at the University’s Sports and Wellness Hub and Oculus building in recent years and our appointment to the framework will allow us to further extend this collaborative relationship through the expertise and capability of the interiors arm of our business.

“Frameworks offer customers a procurement route that is simple and offers the best value. Our Midlands team are looking forward to delivering exemplar refurbishment projects over the course of the framework for this renowned Russell Group member.”

David Hammond, Capital Programme Director at the University of Warwick, added: “The University are delighted to appoint Willmott Dixon Interiors to the framework. The framework will provide a vehicle to realise best value from our supply chain partners in terms of service, innovation and sustainability and through an established partnership enable continuous learning to ensure projects are delivered to the high level of standards expected by our students and staff in a safe and cost effective manner.”

Willmott Dixon Interiors extended their services to the Midlands, opening a new office at Two Snowhill in Birmingham City Centre last year as it continues to expand its presence in the West Midlands fit-out market.
