Growing North East architectural firm to create jobs following project wins
A North East architectural firm is set to expand its workforce after securing a range of project wins in the last six months.
Ergo Projects, based in Newburn in Newcastle, has secured several new six-figure orders to work with housing firms such as Homes by Carlton, Karbon Homes and Port Homes.
As a result of the increased demand, the firm plans to hire in order to meet its end-of-year turnover target of £500k.
Established in 2010, Ergo Projects specialises in design, planning, architectural, and project management services.
The firm works on a range of projects such as individual extensions and renovations, housing developments, commercial and industrial premises, as well as providing design and planning work on listed buildings.
Commenting on the growth of the business, Ergo Projects’ managing director Adrian Reay said: “We are busier than ever and involved in projects spanning the North East region and beyond, which is driving growth, ambition and underpinning our expansion plans.
“As our customers’ own plans come to fruition, we will see more and more demand for our specialist technical and design skills and knowledge. So, regardless of the Brexit uncertainty, it will be business as usual as the sectors we support continue to be busy.”
