London tech specialist creates new jobs with expansion into major Northern city
Programmatic media specialist AudienceStore has opened a new office in Manchester to better serve and support its Northern clients.
Headquartered in Soho, AudienceStore has created many new jobs in Manchester by opening these new offices, including the newly hired regional sales director, Alex Kirkley, who has joined the business from Conversant.
This expansion comes at a time when there is record investment in UK technology businesses, with a record £5.5bn in foreign investment recorded in the first seven months of this year, according to research from the government’s digital economy council.
Danny Haynes, operations director at AudienceStore, said: “As a marketing technology business, we have the benefit of being able to set up almost anywhere in the UK. Our clients however, from manufacturers to luxury travel providers, do not.
“Manchester is a vibrant city with huge economic opportunity. Recent studies have suggested it will lead the way for economic growth in the UK, post-Brexit, thanks to its links to the Northern Powerhouse Initiative, transport connections, digital infrastructure and respected universities.
“We, as AudienceStore, want to ensure that our clients and our own business is part of that growth. We’re very pleased to have Alex on board to help us drive this forward.”
AudienceStore has worked as a programmatic activation agency for blue-chip brands, from Vitabiotics to the Royal Opera House, plus UK agencies including AKA and Inform.
Alex Kirkley, regional sales director at AudienceStore, added: “This is an exciting time for the business and myself in my new role. AudienceStore is in a somewhat unique space as an agnostic, independently-owned marketing technology business.”
