£210k refurbishment of new Leeds office space reaches completion
Construction work to refurbish a three-storey property into office space in Leeds has completed.
Leeds-based Priestley Construction, part of the Priestley Group, completed the £210k transformation of the building on Wellington Street.
The refurbishment has created 3,845 sq ft of office space, situated close to Leeds railway station and the M621 motorway, for the rental market.
Work began in May 2019, and involved 12 weeks of refurbishment including stripping the interiors back to the brickwork. New walls, bathrooms and windows were fitted throughout in a bid to completely transform the space into bright, open-plan offices.
Nathan Priestley, chief executive officer at Priestley Construction, said: “As Leeds continues to cement itself as an increasingly popular city for business in the UK, we have seen a growing demand for luxury office space.
“60 Wellington Street sets the bar for the kind of high quality office accommodation that will attract more inward investment into Leeds.
“The development provides a stylish and modern space for companies on a local and national level to do business in Yorkshire.”
Specialist lender Together provided a commercial loan for Priestley Investments to complete the development.
