Bradford shopping centre adds to hospitality offering with plastic free retailer
The Broadway in Bradford has revealed the opening of coffee shop Tiffin Coffee Grande.
Tiffin Sandwiches has a 20-year history in Bradford and is one of the UK’s largest independent sandwich retailers.
The brand has opened a 1,700 sq ft unit on Market Street with a capacity of over 70 seats; the café will serve hot and cold beverages focusing on its dessert and milkshake offering.
Ian Ward, general manager of The Broadway, Bradford, said: “We are delighted to welcome yet another exciting addition to The Broadway dining portfolio, especially one with such an extensive history in Bradford.
“We have no reservations that this will be an incredibly popular coffee shop and look forward to seeing it flourish in The Broadway.
“2019 has been an exciting year for The Broadway as a whole. Alongside the selection of new retailers that have opened this year, the launch of Tiffin Coffee Grande marks our 19th venue to grow what is an already impressive array of restaurants.”
Tiffin Coffee Grande is the second café owned by Tiffin Sandwiches in Bradford, with the first located in The Wool Exchange.
The brand is also said to be the first sandwich company in the UK to go plastic free.
John Varey, marketing manager at Tiffin Sandwiches, added: “The Broadway’s wide range of bars and dining experiences is one of the most compelling in the region, which made it an easy decision to open Tiffin Coffee Grande in the centre.
“Growth has been phenomenal since launching and we’re excited to be making further plans to expand into units in Leeds and Holmfirth.”
