Workspace Group launches 54,000 sq ft business centre in Hoxton
Office space specialist Workspace Group has launched the latest addition to its London portfolio.
The firm has officially launched Brickfields, a 54,000 sq ft former factory in Hoxton that has been transformed into a co-working space for local businesses.
Brickfields, which was a factory in the 1980s, houses 97 units ranging from 130 sq ft to 4,400 sq ft, as well as meeting spaces, a co-working hub and a cafe.
40 per cent of the building is already let ahead of the launch, with existing tenants including firms such as skincare brand Carbon Theory and music firm BMG Rights Management.
Angus Boag, development director at Workspace, commented: “The launch of Brickfields is the culmination of three years of hard work transforming the building into a striking five-floor property, increasing the size of the light-industrial space it has replaced by 50 per cent.
“The local area is a hotspot for new and creative businesses, and the building reflects this vibrant community.
“We have worked closely with local businesses to design space that encourages collaboration among the people that will occupy the building.”
