Health and Safety Consultancy launches in North Lincolnshire
Tailored Health and Safety solutions to be delivered with help from UKSE.
Unique Health and Safety, a company which provides bespoke health and safety services across the UK, has launched in Scunthorpe following the receipt of support from the UKSE Kickstart Fund.
The North Lincolnshire based business assists small to medium sized enterprises with the view of improving their employees’ health, safety and wellbeing, through effective strategy setting, coaching and communication-based workshops.
Launched in August 2019 by Dawn Hemmings, a specialist with over 21 years’ experience who boasts a track record of working for firms such as Walkers Crisps, the firm already has several clients across the country.
A Kickstart grant from UKSE – a company that works in steel areas across the UK to help businesses grow and create jobs – has been used to develop the company’s image, from the production of business cards to the purchase of relevant office equipment.
Dawn Hemmings, Director of Unique Health and Safety said: “Having worked in the industry for many years I felt there was a gap in the market to deliver tailored packages to business that were focused on their needs, and the needs of their staff.
“I deliver a range of consultancy and training packages that help businesses understand what they are doing well and what could be done better, in terms of their employee’s health, safety and wellbeing.
“The UKSE funding was hugely helpful in allowing me to get the business off the ground – covering the initial set up costs associated with the launch, including office equipment and branding material.”
Keith Williams, Regional Manager of UKSE added: “It’s great to see the launch of a new business that provides such important advice, training and insight to companies based in the North Lincolnshire area and further afield who may not have had access to this kind of expertise previously.
“Dawn is clearly ambitious, and I wish her every success as she takes the business forward.”
