Victorian Camden warehouse sells for 'never-before-seen' price
Chappell Piano Factory in Camden Town has sold achieving a ‘record-breaking’ pound-per-sq ft price.
Estate agent Aston Chase revealed the news today (November 11), and has brokered two deals at the development in recent months.
Following a rental deal agreed earlier this year which achieved the highest rental price for Camden Town, Aston Chase has sold the Chappell Lofts show apartment, achieving the highest pound per sq ft price in Camden Town’s history.
The show apartment provides three bedrooms, a private balcony and an open-plan kitchen and living area.
Simon Deen, director of New Homes at Aston Chase, said: “Aston Chase are delighted to have sold the show apartment at Chappell Lofts which achieved a record-breaking pound per square foot price.
“This is the second property record set at this development for Camden Town and we are proud to have led both deals.
“Chappell Lofts provides luxury living with Manhattan-style décor, designer touches and great amenities, and this second milestone deal is testament to the area’s desirability.”
Built in 1866-67, the Chappell Piano Factory is a Victorian industrial building.
