EAU (Scotland) Invests in Stirling base as springboard for growth
Energy Assets Utilities (EAU), one of Britain’s leading utility network construction companies, has invested in a new base in Scotland to support its expansion plans.
The company has moved from Alva to a modern facility on the Springkerse Industrial Estate in Stirling, providing much improved facilities for over 100 office staff and field-based operatives working for EAU (Scotland).
“Our staff are our lifeblood and the success of the business over recent years meant they were working in increasingly cramped conditions at Alva, so we took the decision to move to new premises with the scope to accommodate our future growth plans,” said Steven Lynch, Managing Director, Energy Assets Utilities (Scotland).
The new base provides 4,000 sq ft of open plan office space, 6,000 sq ft of warehousing and a 6,000 sq ft yard. It includes state-of-the-art conference, training and meeting facilities, break-out areas and a staff room.
“The Stirling site also offers logistical advantages, being just 10 minutes from the motorway network, but one of main benefits is improved internal communication, which makes us more efficient and better equipped to support our customer service innovations,” said Steven.
EAU designs and constructs the gas, electricity, water and fibre-to-the-home networks that energise Britain’s residential developments and industrial and commercial schemes. The company has operational sites in Scotland and England and works across the country with housebuilders and developers. EAU is also a leading contractor for the design and construction of peaking plant projects, which provide power to the national energy grid at times of high demand.
