The appointment of John, who has worked at Capita for over 8 years and is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing, is seen as a coup for the Liverpool headquartered scale up. A well respected figure within the industry, it is hoped that John will lead Gas Tag’s growth in the Scottish social housing market in his role as Regional Director for Scotland.

Gas Tag revolutionised the way gas safety is managed to when it launched its real-time technology solution to the market. The award-winning firm recently announced its new Portal 2.0 and the upcoming project, X-Tag, will continue to drive innovation in the sector.
Currently, Gas Tag is used to support housing providers with their gas compliance. Once installed on the gas inlet within a home, Gas Tag tracks all the property’s gas appliances, installations and services, providing data in real-time back to the landlord or provider via an online portal. Engineers fill in the information using the app which can only be used by a Gas Safe Registered engineer.
