Headquarters' Topping Out Ceremony Signals Continued Growth At Access Group
The latest milestone of The Access Group’s new 100,000 sq.ft. headquarters in Loughborough has been marked with a topping out ceremony following another year of profitable growth for the company.
The concrete core and steel frame is now in place on the office on the Loughborough University Science and Enterprise Park (LUSEP), which is due to open in Autumn 2020 to become the base for around one third of The Access Group’s 2,000 workforce.
At the ceremony attended by Leicestershire County Council deputy leader Byron Rhodes and Loughborough university’s pro-vice chancellor (enterprise) Professor Tracy Bhamra; Jon Jorgensen, chief sales officer at The Access Group, said:
“We are extremely pleased to be at the topping out ceremony of our new head office, this is a big milestone in the construction of our head office. As one of the UK’s fastest growing software companies and with more than a third of our 2,000 employees based in the Midlands we wanted to focus on the right place for our continued expansion and decided that Loughborough was a perfect fit for our business. It’s a fantastic location with easy access to skilled people from the University and the surrounding area, along with excellent connections to the whole of the UK.
“Our company’s mantra is - Love Work, Love Life - and we believe that we will continue to grow as an employer of choice for people looking for career/life balance based here in the East Midlands.”
The Access Group recently celebrated its eleventh year of uninterrupted profitable growth in its latest financial results, with year-on-year proforma organic revenue growing by 14 per cent to £214 million and proforma EBITDA of £74 million.
