North East accountancy firm propels growth with branch expansion

A North East accountancy firm has recently opened its latest office as part of its ongoing growth strategy.

Stuart Hall & Co has opened a new base in Stockton as well as increasing its workforce as part of its wider expansion plans.

Established in 2009 by Stuart Hall, the firm has grown from a one-man operation in Stuart’s home to three branches across the region, including a head office in Bishop Auckland.

The firm currently employs 16 members of staff, but has plans to increase its workforce to meet growing demand for its services.

Stuart said: “In the past year, we’ve taken on an accountant and two apprentices – one in accounting and one in administration. We’re also planning to recruit another apprentice for the Stockton office very soon.

“We believe in the personal approach and having a network of smaller offices, as opposed to one larger base, fits in with that.

“Our growth to date has all been due to word of mouth, and we believe our personal approach, and investment in local talent, stands us in good stead for the future.”
