Offshore engineering giant secures ‘record number’ of new contracts
A national engineering and construction company with bases in the North East and Yorkshire has secured a ‘record number’ of contract wins.
ENGIE Fabricom – headquartered in Grimsby, with offices in Immingham, Lowestoft, Stokesley and Middlesbrough – has reported it has secured over £20m pounds worth of business in the offshore wind sector.
The firm has secured a series of wins over the past 12 months, including projects on behalf of tier one companies working directly on the UK’s largest offshore wind farms.
Richard Webster, CEO at ENGIE Fabricom, commented: “Over the last few years the offshore wind market is booming.
“Already having an extensive portfolio of projects in this sector, we have successfully used our experience and expertise to position the business as the leader and go to business for our specialist services in this sector.
“As such, we also have a very strong project pipeline in this field for the next 12 months and we look forward to continuing delivering projects of this nature to very high standards that ENGIE Fabricom is well known for.”
